Buying A Cheap Paintball Gun

By: cheap paintball

In times like these it is often necessary to cut back on some unnecessary expenses and usually the first thing to go are your extracurriculars. Whether starting out or upgrading to a different gun, it can be difficult to find a cheap paintball gun. With so many minor and large companies and all of them having a standard model, the task can be difficult. The positive part of this is that it means prices are falling and you can get a very good weapon for cheap if you follow the necessary steps

The first rule to go by is to buy a gun from a name brand company. The reasoning behind this is that they make quality guns that have warranties. Off brand models are sometimes not very well made and end up costing more in the long run because of repairs. One thing to keep in mind is that these guns will be basic versions. They won't have the accessories that come with the higher priced models. The great thing is that these upgrades can always be bought later after you have purchased a marker, gotten used to it, and determined that it is a quality gun that is worth of keeping and upgrading.

There are other purchases that have to be made along with the marker and they can usually be found in a cheap package for under $150. This package should include a marker (of course), a hopper to carry the paintballs, a compressed air tank, and most importantly the mask. I know it seems crazy to think the mask is more important than the marker but it is because it is never wise to shoot paintballs at all without one. You can get away with it while with friends but the fields will all require that one is worn. These packages can be found many places but the least expensive is usually online. Just do a healthy amount of research and find the cheapest price but keep in mind that some of these stores may even ship for free which can save a laod of money.

These packages need to consist of a marker, a hopper to hold the paintballs, a propelling system and most importantly a mask. The mask is the most important because it is never safe to shoot paintballs without having one on plus all fields will mandate you wear it. One other choice is to try and locate these items separately but it is usually a waste of time because the package deals are usually less expensive. And the best place to shop will be online because the amounts of competition will drive the prices down and most even ship for free.

Like all extreme hobbies, paintball can be very expensive the more you involve your self with it but it can also be very cheap to get started if you know the steps to follow. Play paintball somehow before you make the investment of purchasing an entire package by renting or borrowing a gun. Then follow the steps above in choosing a gun that will last, fit your budget, and provide many hours of enjoyment.
